Club Choiseul Africa in Paris | Launching a Vision for Africa Towards 2050

On March 5, 2024, Choiseul Africa reached a significant milestone with the launch of its first Club in Paris, bringing together around 100 European and African economic leaders. Centered on the exclusive analysis *“Africa 2050 Survey,”* the event opened ambitious avenues for building a sustainable and prosperous future for the continent.

On March 5th, 2024, Choiseul Africa launched its inaugural Club in Paris, convening over one hundred leading European and African economic stakeholders. The event aimed at exploring the economic, commercial, and cooperative prospects for Africa towards 2050, drawing on insights from the groundbreaking “Africa 2050 Survey.” This landmark study, conducted in collaboration with Skema Business School, gathered perspectives from our community of African leaders on their vision and projections for the continent’s economy by 2050.

With a population expected to reach 2.5 billion by 2050, more than half of whom will be under 25 years old, Africa is already at the crossroads of global challenges. The study assesses projections for new growth and modernisation challenges that could be hampered or constrained, with results illustrated by contributions from our two speakers:
