In 2021, the second edition of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum reaffirmed its key role, bringing together 600 decision-makers from 50 countries to explore concrete solutions and strengthen economic ties with Africa.
On November 24-25, 2021, Nice hosted the second edition of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum, bringing together 500 participants from 50 countries, including 47 African nations, and 100 speakers across 20 plenaries and roundtables. This unique event explored investment opportunities in and with Africa, solidifying its position as a key platform.
Mauritania was in the spotlight with the participation of the Minister of Economic Affairs, Ousmane Mamadou Kane, who highlighted the country’s growth opportunities. Among the highlights was a plenary on Africa-Europe partnerships, featuring influential figures such as Jean-Marie Ackah, Mehdi Tazi, and Isabelle Bébéar, paving the way for stronger cooperation.
Covering a range of topics from infrastructure to healthcare and sports business, the event brought decision-makers together for strategic discussions. With 80% of participants coming from Africa, the Forum has established itself as a major pan-African event, fostering fruitful meetings and impactful partnerships.
Lastly, the Choiseul for Good initiative showcased the Institut Choiseul’s commitment to concrete actions, raising €45,000 for the construction of schools in Africa. A remarkable edition, emblematic of a continent in full transformation.
