Choiseul Africa encompasses all the activities historically undertaken by the Institut Choiseul for the African continent. Now an independent platform, its role is to identify and engage a business community focused on the continent, support it in developing high-value projects, and promote its ideas through strategic publications.

For the past 10 years, Choiseul Africa has been celebrating the talents shaping the continent’s future through the Choiseul 100 Africa, a flagship ranking that annually identifies the most influential young economic and political leaders in Africa. With nearly 450 laureates and alumni from 50 countries, this ranking embodies a dynamic and inspiring vision of a vibrant and forward-moving Africa.
Beyond the ranking, Choiseul Africa drives a powerful community of influence by organizing flagship initiatives such as the Choiseul Africa Awards, which recognize key figures who have shaped Africa’s current affairs, as well as major strategic events including the Choiseul Africa Business Forum, the Choiseul Africa Summits, and the Choiseul Clubs. These gatherings bring together thousands of influential decision-makers every year to address the continent’s major challenges, fostering synergies and sustainable partnerships.
A bridge-builder between economic, public, and institutional spheres, Choiseul Africa pursues a clear ambition: to reveal talent, connect energies, and position Africa at the heart of global priorities.
Members of the Choiseul Africa Advisory Board
In early 2023, Choiseul Africa appointed twenty distinguished African leaders from both the public and private sectors. Through a platform for sharing ideas and regular meetings, this Advisory Board actively supports Choiseul’s activities across the continent.
Board members play a key role in selecting the laureates of the Choiseul 100 Africa ranking and contribute to the organization of events, most notably our flagship annual investment forum, the Choiseul Africa Business Forum.
The Advisory Board is also consulted for the organization of the Choiseul Africa Awards, which annually honor outstanding figures who have made a significant economic and societal impact on the continent.
